Growing up in a music-oriented family, I began learning the guitar at the age of 9. Over the past decade, I have been teaching pop guitar, encompassing nylon and acoustic guitar styles. As my musical responsibilities expanded to include composition and performance, I delved into the ukulele. Being among the pioneers of ukulele instruction in my country, I composed and released a song featuring the ukulele ("Moonlight Lullaby" with Taher Qureshi's vocals). For over 6 years, I have been instructing the ukulele, and my passion for this instrument continues to grow. Presently, I am initiating numerous collaborations with vocalists and instrumentalists from various countries, all centered around the ukulele.

Teaching Method:
I firmly believe that the teaching approach should be tailored to the student's age and musical background. For ukulele instruction, the initial focus lies on grasping rhythm and singing alongside the instrument. Subsequently, the curriculum progresses to encompass playing melodies, reading notation, and understanding music theory in a straightforward manner, utilizing materials I have authored and compiled, as well as referencing Hal Leonard's book—a valuable resource for the ukulele. Likewise, for guitar instruction, I have developed and organized instructional materials alongside referencing books from Oxford and Hal Leonard, which have yielded excellent results throughout my years of teaching.

Fatemeh: I highly recommend Mr. Eskandar as a ukulele instructor. My daughter has been taking lessons with him for almost two years and has made tremendous progress, not only in playing ability, but also in music theory. He has helped her to not only play in English but also sing and play in Farsi, adding an extra level of versatility to her abilities. Mr. Esknadar makes lessons fun and engaging, and is a talented, patient, and encouraging teacher. If you want your child to grow as a well-rounded musician, Mr. Eskandar is the way to go!
ناهید: پیشرفت دختر من در یادگیری ساز یوکللی به لطف آقای اسکندر باور نکردنی بوده است. آقای اسکندر برنامه آموزشی را با چند آهنگ ساده و جذاب شروع کردند که باعث شد به سرعت دخترم به یادگیری ساز علاقه مند شود. آنلاین بودن کلاس ها و سرعت اینترنت، بر خلاف نگرانی اولیه من، تأثیرمنفی زیادی بر کیفیت عالی کلاس نگذاشته. به پدر و مادرهایی که مایل به آموزش موسیقی به فرزندانشان هستند، آقای اسکندر را توصیه می کنم. فقط لازم است چند جلسه اول صبور باشید تا ثمرات عالی این کلاس را ببینید.
فرانک : امید خیلی معلم خوبی هست و پسرم از کلاسهاش با امید خیلی خوشش میاد. سال پیش تو مدرسه بهشون یوکلیلی یاد میدادن ولی به خاطر کرونا امسال از خونه به صورت آنلاین مدرسه میره و برای همین آموزش یوکلیلی هم ندارن و فقط در مدرسه آنلاین تیوری موسیقی آموزش میدن. ما کلاس یوکلیلی را به عنوان جایگزین برای کلاس موسیقی مدرسه گرفتیم ولی بسیار بسیار مفیدتر از کلاس مدرسه هست و تو همین چند جلسه کلی آهنگ جدید یاد گرفته بزنه و هم خودش لذت میبره و هم ما که گوش میدیم. ما بعد از باز شدن مدارس هم جتما کلاس با امید جان را ادامه میدیم

مهیا : آقای امید اسکندر به توانایی هنرجو توجه می کنن و نه خیلی سخت می گیرن که بچه زده شه و نه خیلی آسون می گیرن که پیشرفت کند باشه. من واقعا ازشون ممنون و سپاسگزارم. رضایتمندی کامل دارم و براشون بهترین ها رو آرزومندم. 🙏
